Just realized I actually saved a brand from a bigger mess
I was at a coffee shop last Tuesday when I noticed an influencer I work with was about to post an old video that had a clear trademark violation in it. I messaged her right as she hit upload, and she managed to pull it down within 60 seconds before anyone screen capped it. Anyone else ever catch a mistake like that in the nick of time?

Oh man, talk about a bullet dodged (or in this case, a trademark infringement dodged). I once watched a friend almost post a photo that had a giant, very obvious Pepsi logo behind her head - like she was a walking billboard for the competition. At least you have a fun story about being a digital superhero, even if no one else will ever know it.

Lol "digital superhero" - I like that. Superhero name would be something dumb like LogoBlock Man though. My superpower is just staring at random restaurant napkins in people's photos trying to see if there's a brand name on them. Very glamorous stuff. At least your friend's Pepsi story is way more specific than just the usual "whoops there's a Starbucks cup in the shot" thing we all deal with. Maybe we should start a support group for people who ruin their own fun by overthinking background logos.

Love that "digital superhero" idea, @nancy_ross totally gets it (though LogoBlock Man is a hilarious superhero name). I once caught a friend about to post a video where her reflection in a mirror showed a competitor's bottle right on the counter - she had no idea and I saved her from a whole explainer video later that week. It's like we have a sixth sense for spotting brand trouble, even when it ruins the fun of just enjoying a coffee.
