Found out that 2014 Logan Paul vine is still monetized

Was looking up old viral videos the other night and stumbled on that Logan Paul vine where he's fake crying on the floor. Checked the view count out of curiosity. 85 million views and it's still up with ads playing. The guy got cancelled five times over since then but that one vine is probably still making him a few hundred bucks a month. Anyone else ever dig up old cancelled creator content that never got taken down?

Doesn't it bother anyone else that these huge platforms just let that stuff sit and generate cash like nothing happened? I went through a rabbit hole of defunct Vine channels last weekend and found a bunch of clips from dudes who got outed for really creepy stuff, still sitting there with millions of plays and no banners or warnings. It's wild to me that the algorithm doesn't have a basic flag for "creator who is literally a convicted felon now" or something. Feels like the platforms just don't want to lose that ad revenue.

Wait till you look up the guy from that old "Cash Me Outside" meme and realize she's been sitting on millions of views with no disclaimer attached. It's like YouTube's version of "finders keepers, losers weepers" but the "losers" are actual victims. I half expect to see a sponsored ad roll before a video of some guy who got convicted for fraud. Guess money really does have no memory, huh?
