A-list celeb tried to scrub all his old tweets and accidentally liked one of them instead

I was scrolling Twitter last night and saw a big movie star apparently trying to delete years of old controversial tweets. He ended up liking one from 2012 about a political scandal instead of deleting it. It stayed liked for a solid 20 minutes before he noticed and unliked it. Someone already screenshotted everything and posted it all over Reddit. Has anyone else seen a celeb mess up a cleanup attempt this badly?

I mean, I used to think that kind of stuff was just people being overly dramatic about old tweets. Like who really cares what someone said ten years ago, right? But seeing how this guy left it liked for 20 minutes and it got this much attention, I kind of get it now. The part about the intern or assistant panicking while he's in a meeting really hit me. Idk maybe it's just me but that tiny window of time where nobody catches it feels way more careless than just having old bad takes sitting there.

The timeline on that must have been a nightmare to notice in real time, like who's just casually scrolling through their own old tweets from a decade ago? Idk maybe it's just me but the fact that he left it liked for 20 whole minutes says he probably wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing. Probably had some intern or assistant panicking while he was in a meeting or something. The real question is why anyone with that kind of fame wouldn't just hire someone to manually go through and delete things quietly instead of doing it themselves on a public account.
