Why does nobody talk about how expensive chimney liners got?
I dropped $1,400 on a stainless steel liner for a job last month and could have done it with clay tiles for half that if I'd planned better. Anyone else feel like prices on these things jumped way too fast?

Paid $1,600 for mine last fall and the guy basically shrugged and said "that's the going rate now." I remember when you could get a whole liner kit for like $600 and install it over a weekend. Now all the stainless steel feels like it's harvested from unicorn bones or something.
