Talked to a homeowner about their wood stove and it changed how I clean
Last Tuesday I was sweeping a flue for a retired firefighter. He told me he never burns pine because of the creosote and I laughed it off at first. But then he showed me his stovepipe after 5 years and it was almost spotless. I've been telling clients to avoid pine for years but never really knew why until I saw the proof. Has anyone else had a customer teach them something that simple?
