Just lost 3 hours to a $40 motor that was fine all along

Went out on a tune up yesterday and the draft motor was humming but not spinning. Customer agreed to the part, swapped the whole thing, still nothing. Turns out there was a squirrel nest wedged against the capacitor and it was just stuck. We both stood there watching the old motor spin after I pulled the nest out. Has anyone else had a call where you just know the part was good from the start?
