Just finished a job on a 1920s house in Pasadena with a crazy offset flue.

The homeowner said three other sweeps turned it down, but I brought my old rotary head and a new flexible rod set I got last month. We got it clear after about four hours of careful work, and the look on her face was worth it. Anyone ever run into a flue with two 45-degree bends that close together?

Remember seeing a flue like that in an old craftsman bungalow. Those tight offsets are a real test of patience and the right gear. Glad you had the tools to get it done.

Four hours on one flue is insane.

Did your friend at least have a good radio to keep them company?
