Has anyone else had a customer point out something so small that it just STUCK in your head forever? Because that happened to me once with a guy who said my sauce looked like "sad pudding" and I could NOT unsee it. I stayed up that night just staring at my plating photos, trying to figure out what he meant. Turns out I was piling the sauce in one big lump instead of spreading it out, and once I saw it, I felt SO dumb. Now I always do a little swoosh with the spoon, and every time I do it I think of that random dude and his weird comment. It’s funny how a throwaway line can totally rewrite your whole process like that.
