Watched a singer post a backstage selfie last Tuesday and her tour bus number was right there in the mirror
Last Tuesday I'm scrolling before my shift and this pop singer posts a mirror selfie in her dressing room in Cleveland, and you can clearly read the bus company name and the unit number on her jacket tag. She deleted it 40 minutes later, but the fan accounts already had screenshots and someone mapped her whole route from it. Do celebs not check the background even once, or is the clout worth the security risk?
I once posted a pic of my lunch and my debit card was sitting right there on the table, so by all means take my advice on opsec. Difference is nobody cares enough to zoom in on my sad turkey sandwich. These singers have whole teams whose only job is to catch this stuff before it goes up, and somehow a bus number still slips through in a mirror. Forty minutes is an eternity online, the screenshots were probably saved in twenty seconds. At some point the clout brain just overrides the survival brain and they post it anyway.
