Saw a big actor post a super angry tweet about his own movie last night, and I spent an hour digging into the drama before realizing he was just quoting a line from his new film. It was a weird, confusing way to promote something. Has anyone else fallen for a fake-out social media post that was just a clumsy ad?

My buddy got so mad last year when a singer he follows posted "I can't believe they're making me do this tour." He was ready to boycott until someone pointed out it was just a lyric from her new single. Felt like a cheap trick.
