The time Jason Momoa accidentally posted his phone number in an Instagram story
So about 2 years ago Jason Momoa posted a screenshot of his phone contacts on his Instagram story (you know, to promote something about water conservation I think) and he didn't blur out his actual phone number. Within like 20 minutes fans had already called and texted him before he took it down. Does anyone remember what happened with that or did he just ignore all the calls?

I read that he actually got hundreds of calls and texts in that first hour before he realized what happened. Apparently some fans left voicemails that were pretty funny, like people just saying they loved Aquaman and asking if he wanted to grab a beer lol. He ended up doing an interview later where he said he actually listened to a few of the voicemails and thought it was sweet but also kinda creepy that strangers had his real number. From what I remember he didn't change his number though, he just got better at blurring stuff out. There was also this whole thing where some fans tried to sell his number online but he seemed pretty chill about the whole mistake.

Yeah for sure, the part about people trying to sell his number is nuts. I did something similar once, posted a screenshot on Facebook with my old work number showing and got like 30 calls in 20 minutes from strangers. It was super awkward but also kind of funny, like some people were just checking if it was real and wanted to say hi. I get what he means about it being sweet and creepy at the same time. I didn't change my number either, just got way more careful about cropping stuff out. Still makes me laugh thinking about people asking him for beer though.
