That time James Charles posted a video with his ring light clearly showing his reflection in someone's glasses... oops

So I was scrolling TikTok a couple days ago and saw this clip of James Charles doing a makeup tutorial. He was talking about blending techniques and totally didn't notice you could see the whole ring light setup reflected in this girl's glasses behind him. It looked like a UFO was hovering in her lenses, it was so obvious lol. Has anyone else spotted a celeb accidentally revealing their filming setup in a reflection or mirror?

My friend tried filming a cooking video for her small channel and accidentally left the microwave timer showing in the background of a shot. We had to refilm the whole thing because she didn't notice until editing. The ring light thing is such a classic mistake though, those reflections show up in the weirdest places like glasses or shiny tabletops. Ive started having people take test photos first now before doing any real filming to catch those mirror reflections early.

Dude, that reminds me of the time I tried filming a video for my mom and forgot my laptop screen was mirrored behind me. So the whole time I'm talking you can just see my own dumb face staring back at the screen with my glasses reflection sparking like a disco ball. That ring light thing is such a classic oops, especially with those big circle lights. It's like you're trying to be a pro but your own setup throws you under the bus. At least James Charles probably caught it before he posted, my video made it all the way to my mom's group chat with her friends laughing at me.

Oh man, that's a rough one. I feel for your friend having to reshoot the whole thing, that's the worst when you think you're done and then notice something like a timer or reflection. It's crazy how easy it is to miss stuff like that when you're focused on what you're doing. Test shots sound like a good idea, I might have to start doing that myself. The James Charles thing is funny though because he probably has a whole team and still missed it.
