That moment I realized I'd been reading celebrity tweets wrong for years

So I was scrolling through Twitter last week and saw a post from some actor I follow. He wrote something like 'just finished filming for the day can't wait to see this one' and I thought okay cool, another boring update. Then I looked at the replies and everyone was laughing about how he was actually making fun of a bad script. I never picked up on that sarcasm. For years I've been taking every celeb post at face value and missing the jokes completely. Does anyone else struggle to read tone in celebrity social media posts?

Oh man, I feel this one. It took me way too long to figure out that half the stuff celebrities post is just dry humor that doesn't land without context. Now I always check the replies first before I assume anything.

Now I always check the replies first" - that's actually a smart move but sometimes the replies are even more confusing than the original post. Have you ever fallen for a reply that was also sarcastic?
