Just realized I've been tagging celebs wrong for 2 whole years

I used to think tagging a celeb in a funny fail post got their attention, so I'd throw @mentions on every meme. Last week I tagged Dwayne Johnson on a video of a guy tripping and his team actually replied with a copyright warning. Apparently that's not how it works, you gotta @ them in a comment on THEIR post, not yours. Has anyone else been doing this backwards and getting roasted for it?
