I looked up the numbers on that famous singer's deleted tweet and the story is way different
Honestly, everyone keeps saying that pop star's 'typo tweet' went viral and got millions of likes before they deleted it. I got curious and checked the Wayback Machine archive for the original post. The screenshot everyone shares is from a fan account that boosted the numbers. The real tweet only had about 12,000 likes and 800 retweets in the two hours it was live. It wasn't some massive fail, just a normal goof. People are acting like it crashed the internet when it was barely a blip. Has anyone else fact-checked a famous social media 'disaster' and found it was totally overblown?

Yeah, the whole "Twitter meltdown" thing is often fake. I saw a post claiming a big streamer's rant got 50k quotes, but the original was only up for like three minutes. Most of those screenshots are from drama accounts that add fake engagement numbers. It's crazy how a small mistake gets turned into a whole story.

Three minutes and 50k quotes? That math only works in drama school.
