Hot take: I think the Kardashian brand apology posts are actually smart marketing
Everyone hates when Kim posts a blank white square after drama, but I tried ignoring my client's mistake for 48 hours last month and the blowback died down way faster than when I rushed an apology. Has anyone else let a social media slip just fade out instead of responding?

Tbh yeah the whole "silence is the move" thing actually worked for me too. I had a post go sideways last year and just let it sit for 3 days before saying anything and people were already onto the next drama by then.

Always thought the loudest person got the most attention... but watching how fast people move on when you don't feed the fire was pretty eye opening. Guess I was wrong about that one.

Honestly it reminded me of this time in high school when my friend's mom caught us sneaking out and she just went back to watching TV instead of yelling. We were way more creeped out by the silence than if she'd grounded us. Sometimes no reaction is the best reaction.
