Called out a celeb for a bad post and got dragged

Last Tuesday I saw some big name actor post a picture of himself at a food bank like he was a hero. He tagged the location and everything. I just commented that it felt kind of performative and maybe he should keep the focus on the people there instead of himself. Within 2 hours I had over 300 replies calling me a hater and a troll. One fan page dug up a tweet I wrote 4 years ago about a parking ticket. The actor never even replied but his fans went nuts. It made me realize how fast people jump to defend famous folks for doing the bare minimum. Anyone else get roasted for pointing out something obvious about a celeb post?

Man, getting ratio'd that hard for calling out a celeb is rough, but at least my deepest shame is just a parking ticket and not a whole fan army. Its wild how fast people forget that famous folks are just humans who can be wrong too. Guess I'll stick to keeping my hot takes to myself next time, my fragile ego cant handle that smoke.
