Appreciation post: That time a celeb typo accidentally started a whole new meme format
I was scrolling through Twitter in 2020 when some big actor posted 'I could care less' instead of 'couldn't care less' and it blew up because fans roasted them for three days straight... It made me check every single thing I type online now before hitting send. Anyone else still paranoid about their own social media errors because of that one viral fail?

Used to think people were just uptight until I realized how fast the internet turns on a simple mistake.

Hold on, I think a LITTLE accountability is actually good for people. If you mess up publicly, you SHOULD face some heat it's how we all learn not to do dumb stuff.

Not sure public shaming is the same thing as accountability though. The line between "learning a lesson" and "getting dogpiled by strangers" gets real blurry real fast online. Feels like we've convinced ourselves that being harsh is the only way to teach people things when usually it just makes them defensive.
