Why does nobody talk about the glue drying too fast on a hot day in July?
I was on a job in Tucson last summer, 108 degrees outside and the AC in the house was off. I spread adhesive in a 12 by 15 room and by the time I got the first strip down the glue was already skinned over. I ended up pulling it up and doing half the room at a time, which took me an extra 3 hours and cost me a Friday night. Now I always check the temp and work in smaller sections, but a guy I know swears by a different glue he orders online. Do you guys switch products for heat or just deal with it by working faster?
