Walked into a new build in Scottsdale and every room had the same wrinkle by the door
I was there Tuesday doing a measure for 1,400 sq ft of berber and noticed the pad was buckling in all four bedrooms right where the carpet meets the tile. Turns out the crew stapled it down tight against the tack strip instead of letting it breathe, so when the AC kicked on it stretched. Builder says it's the first complaint in 30 homes but I've seen this pattern before. Any of you getting called out to fix other people's pad jobs like this?
