Walked into a new build in Nashville last week and every room had the pad stapled down wrong
I was there to bid on carpet for 14 units and the builder's guy had run the pad sideways in the hallways and stapled it right through the seam edge. Half the units already had wrinkling at the doorways before anyone even walked on them. Do you eat the cost and redo the pad to protect your name, or do you install over it and let the builder own the callback? Curious what you all do when the prep is already junk before you show up.
