Woke up late that day and thought I could still catch the bus if I ran, but I tripped on my own feet right outside my door and sprained my ankle. Hobbled to the 7-Eleven for some ice and dropped the entire slurpee on my only clean pair of jeans. Then my phone died right when I was trying to call my boss to explain why I'd be late, and of course I forgot my charger at home. By the time I limped into work two hours late, I had a blue stain down my leg and the worst headache. Some days the universe just picks you out specifically to mess with.

The universe just picks you out specifically to mess with" is the truest thing I've read today. Some days it's like life wakes up and decides to kick you while you're already falling. Just gotta laugh it off and try again tomorrow.
