Tried that seam sealer spray for high traffic areas and it actually made things worse
My boss told me to use this spray on sealant from a supplier in Phoenix on a commercial job last month. Figured it would save time on the seams near the doorways. Instead it left this tacky film that attracted every bit of dust in the building. Had to rip out three sections and redo them. Now I just stick to the old glue method for seams. Anyone else have bad luck with those spray products?

The spray I used was from a company called SealFast. It took about four days to fully cure and stayed sticky the whole time. Had to scrape it off with a putty knife and acetone, which ruined the surrounding carpet fibers. Never again.

That tacky film nightmare is exactly what happened to me, I had to grind it all off.

Maybe nobody checked if that spray was actually rated for indoor use or just parking garages.
