Took me 12 years to figure out the trick to seaming in doorways
Last month I was wrestling with a seam in a tight bedroom doorway and finally tried running the seam down the middle of the door instead of under the closed door. Saved me 20 minutes of fighting the backing and it looks way cleaner. Has anyone else got a weird spot they changed how they seam?

Doorway seams are the worst... @blakem37 that hand stitch trick is a keeper. Tried it on a tight bathroom doorway last week and it saved my back from the usual contortion act. Hand stitching in doorways is the way to go.

I saw a guy on YouTube say he stops the seam about six inches from the doorframe and does a hand stitch the rest of the way. Tried it on my last job and it worked way better than I thought it would.
