Just hit 500 yards of carpet stretched in a single day
It was a big job in a new apartment building, all 12 foot wide rolls of that heavy commercial stuff. My back felt it, but we kept the power stretcher moving and the knee kicker ready. The number hit me when I was adding up the tickets at the end. Has anyone else pushed past what they thought was a daily limit on a big install?

Honestly, that's a crazy amount of carpet in one day, especially with the heavy commercial rolls. Tbh, on a huge job like that, having a solid team rhythm is the only thing that gets you through. We found that switching who ran the power stretcher every few hours saved our backs and kept the pace up. Keeping the seam tape and adhesive prepped and within reach stopped those little delays from adding up. Ngl, hitting a number like that feels pretty good once the ache wears off.

That switching off on the power stretcher every few hours really makes that much difference? I always figured it would break the rhythm more than it would save your back.
