Had a seam pop up on me right after a big job in Phoenix

It was in a master bedroom, about 90 degrees outside and the AC was off. I finished the install, everything looked perfect, and left. The homeowner called me two hours later saying a seam had lifted almost an inch. I rushed back, used my heat welder to really melt the adhesive tape again, and rolled it out with my 100-pound roller. Has anyone else had a seam fail that fast because of the heat?

Oh man, Phoenix heat is a different beast. It's like the floor just decided to have a little rebellion the second you walked out the door. At least it waited until you were gone and didn't do it while you were still on your knees staring at it. Did the fix hold after you went back and beat it into submission?

Lol right? @the_fiona makes a good point about the floor waiting. Makes you wonder if the heat just warps stuff for fun and it pops back when it cools down at night.
