Back when I started, I thought all padding was the same.

Oh man, that is so true. I mean, I spent years just grabbing whatever padding was on sale, thinking it was all fine. It took so many bad jobs and unhappy customers to finally get it through my head that the carpet type changes everything. That specific lesson really does just take time and a lot of mistakes to learn. You can't rush that kind of knowing what works.
