Warning: never use a framing nailer on a windy day

I was siding a shed last Thursday and a gust caught a 16-penny nail mid-air, sent it flying right into my truck door. $300 dent later my boss just shook his head. Anybody else have a tool fail that turned into a whole new problem?

@angela_grant yikes, a 16-penny dent sucks but three fingers is brutal.

Last week my neighbor lost three fingers when his framing nailer misfired on a calm day.
