That week last month when I had three miter saw cuts go wonky in a row
I was trimming out a living room in a 1980s house and the blade drifted on every single cut, turns out the arbor washer had a tiny burr I overlooked, has anyone else had a string of bad cuts traced back to something that simple?

...and once you find it you feel like an idiot for not checking sooner. A good trick is to run your finger along the washer edge before you put it on, catches any little burrs before they bite you.

Three cuts in a row sounds frustrating, I bet that burr was tiny enough to miss with a quick glance but just big enough to mess everything up.
