Shoutout to the Milwaukee M18 Fuel trim gun for not jamming once during a 3-day crown molding job in a humid Savannah house, which never happens with my old one.

I learned that sometimes the extra cost for a tool that can handle specific, tough conditions is worth it, so what's your go-to tool that surprised you by performing way better than expected in a bad environment?

Yeah, that Milwaukee stuff is solid. My Makita angle grinder is like that. Used it cutting rebar in the rain on a foundation job, just hosed it off at the end of the day and it never even sputtered. What kind of trim were you running, the thick stuff?

Wait, you just hosed it off like it was a muddy truck and it didn't even blink? I'm half tempted to try that with my old Ryobi just to see if it finally gives up the ghost. Some of these brushless motors are tougher than people give them credit for, I guess. My dad always told me never to get power tools wet, but sounds like yours just laughed it off. Maybe I'm just too careful with mine and they'd survive way more than I think.
