Hot take: my speed square lives in my apron now, not the toolbox

For years I'd leave the square in the truck and walk back for it every time a cut needed checking, probably cost me 20 minutes a day on a deck job in Tucson. Started clipping it to my apron after a lead guy said "the tool you don't carry is the tool you don't have" and my layout got way faster. Curious if you all keep your square on you or still leave it in the box.
