After weeks of practice, my apprentice's first clean dovetail joint surprised us both.

He was so proud he almost hugged the saw, but then he knocked over his coffee.

Did the joint survive the coffee bath, or was that the final test?

Hold on, max_rodriguez71, you just casually dropped that a joint took a five minute coffee bath. The real shock is that it was only five minutes. That feels like a lifetime for a piece of electronics to be swimming in liquid. Immediate cleaning makes sense, but that's a serious gamble. Most things would be totally fried after a soak like that.
