After 20 years, I finally bought a track saw and it saved my back

Used to fight with a circular saw and a straight edge for every sheet of plywood. Dropped $450 on a Festool at a demo in Portland, figured it was hype. First cut on a sliding door panel took me 10 minutes total, no chipping, no climbing over sheets on sawhorses. Anyone else switch late and wish they did it sooner?

The real win nobody talks about is how little dust it throws. You breathe less of that crap and spend way less time cleaning the garage. I used to spend 20 minutes sweeping up after every cut with a circular saw. Now the saw collects most of it right at the source. That alone made the switch worth it for me, forget the back and the clean cuts.
