Warning: That 'perfect week' at work almost drove me insane
Last Tuesday I had everything go right - two big projects finished early, boss actually said 'good job' for once, and I left at 4pm. Then Wednesday hit like a truck with three emergency requests and a broken coffee machine that just reminded me how rare good days really are. How do you guys deal with the whiplash when a high point crashes into the usual chaos?

HOLY COW a broken coffee machine too? That's just adding insult to injury right there. I swear the universe has a SICK sense of humor, giving you one perfect day just to sucker punch you the next morning. I've had that exact thing happen where I'm walking on air after a good day, then BAM, someone's toilet is backing up and I'm elbow deep in someone else's problem by 8am. It's like the high point just makes the crash that much worse because you know exactly how good it COULD be.

Throwing your back out right after a full day of work doing fine detail stuff. The good day builds you up, makes you think you're invincible. Then the next job hits like a freight train. You bend over wrong for one second and you're stuck hobbling around like a zombie for three days trying to crack your spine against a doorframe. Makes you almost wish for a boring Tuesday with no highs at all.
