Visited a co-working space in Austin that had a full time HR person on staff

I walked into a random co-working spot last week in Austin and they actually had a dedicated HR person helping members with salary negotiations and job offers, has anyone else seen something like that in a shared office space?

Honestly that's kinda wild for a coworking space. Maybe my standards are just low but the one I use still has sticky keyboards and a broken coffee machine. I feel like that HR person has to be super overwhelmed with people asking about like, how to ask for a raise at a company they don't even work for yet. Its a cool idea on paper but idk how you'd staff that without charging rent in gold bars.

120 bucks a month and they still can't fix the coffee machine? @king.wyatt has a point about the pricing though. That HR model would need to charge like 500 minimum per desk just to cover one person's salary. No way that works unless the whole building is full of rich freelancers.

Oh for real, 120 bucks and they can't even fix the coffee machine? That's just sad. But I'm stuck on the math here too. Like, if you're paying 500 a month for a desk, how many hours would you actually get with that HR person? Is it like unlimited drop-ins or just like a 30 minute chat once a month? Cause that makes a huge difference in whether it's worth it or not.
