Update: My old mentor from my first job in Chicago called me out on my resume last week.
He said 'you're still listing tasks, not telling the story of what you actually built' and it finally clicked after 8 years in tech.

Damn, that's a wake-up call. What's the first thing you're changing on your resume?

Honestly I see this all the time where people list duties instead of wins. My first edit is always to swap "responsible for" with actual results I can measure. It forces you to show your real impact.

Totally agree about swapping "responsible for". I'd also make sure every bullet point starts with a strong action verb, like "increased" or "cut", to force that results-focused thinking.
