Talked to a guy at a truck stop about his side hustle and it made me rethink my whole career.
He said he'd been doing online mediation certifications at night for 2 years and now makes more off that than his day job, and I couldn't sleep that night wondering if I'm just settling for the road.

Oh man, don't remind me of my pressure washing phase. I spent $400 on a used rig and spent an entire Saturday cleaning one driveway for $60. My neighbor's dog kept barking at me and I accidentally sprayed my own shoes. By the time I factored in gas and the chiropractor visit for my back, I basically paid to work for free. I'll stick with my night shift data entry side gig where the only risk is carpal tunnel from typing the word "invoice" 800 times.

Facts. Too many people push those hustle culture videos like everyone's gonna be rich in 3 months. I've watched friends burn cash on dropshipping and crypto courses that went nowhere. Saved up for months to start a pressure washing gig and barely broke even after equipment and gas. It's rough out here.
