Rant: Blew $400 on a 'career coach' and got generic advice I could have found for free
I paid this person $400 for 3 sessions thinking they'd help me pivot into project management. First call they just told me to 'update my LinkedIn' and 'network more.' Second session they gave me a basic resume template I could have Googled in 5 minutes. Third session they ghosted me and never even rescheduled. Anyone else get burned by one of these so-called experts or did you actually find one that helped?

Paid $50 for a life coach once and she told me to just 'drink more water.'

I once paid a girl named Jenna from Florida $75 for a "wellness session" and she just turned her laptop around to show me a chart about sleep cycles. The whole hour was her reading bullet points off a slideshow she probably found on Google Images. I swear some of these people just take a weekend course and call themselves experts.
