I thought updating my resume would take an hour. It took a full weekend.

Ngl, I just needed to add my new job title from the promotion I got in February. That simple task made me realize my whole skills section was from like 2018. Ended up rewriting everything and it took me from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Has anyone else had a tiny update spiral into a massive overhaul?

Actually sounds like a good use of time to me. A resume should reflect current skills, not be a quick patch job. That weekend overhaul probably made it way stronger.

Feel your pain, that exact thing happened to me last month. Bettywood is right though, it's definitely a stronger doc now.
