I finally switched from a general resume to one tailored for each job app
My callback rate went from maybe 1 in 20 to about 1 in 4 after I started using keywords from the actual job description. Anyone else find that a little extra work upfront makes a huge difference?

Wait you were sending the same resume to every job before? That's wild to me. I figured everyone knew you had to change it up by now. I can't believe your callback rate was that low for so long. It must have been so frustrating sending out all those applications and hearing nothing back. Honestly, switching to tailored resumes is the most basic advice out there. I'm shocked you weren't already doing it.

It's a total game changer and absolutely worth the effort.

My cousin in Denver finally convinced me to try it last year. I put it off for months because the setup seemed like a huge hassle. Once I got past that first weekend of figuring things out, my whole routine changed for the better. It really does feel like you unlock a new level of ease. Totally get why you say it's worth the effort, even when it feels daunting at the start.
