Freelance client ghosted me after I sent the final invoice for $1,200

I was sitting at my desk in Chicago last Tuesday, sent over the final files and invoice for a logo project, and the client just vanished off the face of the earth no replies to emails or texts for a week. I ended up sending a polite but firm final notice saying I'd take it to small claims court, and she finally paid up the next day has anyone else had a client pull the silent treatment like that?

Man @brian_rivera59 that's brutal, nobody should have to chase payments like that.
