Fought with a certificate renewal for 2 days before finding the fix

I was updating my AWS Solutions Architect cert last month and the renewal portal kept kicking back my payment. Called support 4 times and spent maybe 14 hours total on it. Turned out I had to clear my browser cache because a old session cookie was blocking the transaction. Anyone else hit a stupid simple fix after way too long?

Cleared my cache after reading this. Worked instantly. Spent three hours yesterday fighting a login loop for nothing. Stupid how the simplest stuff gets you.

@sage_ramirez42 I've been exactly where you are. Spent a whole afternoon once thinking something was broken with my roles or permissions when it was just a stale cookie from an old session. Clearing cache is always my first move now before I start digging into IAM or anything else. The browser holds onto that stuff way longer than you'd expect, especially with all the redirects AWS uses. Saved myself hours more than once just by doing a hard refresh plus cache wipe.

That cookie thing is usually more of a browser session issue than a cookie specifically. But yeah, a simple cache clear fixes a surprising amount of AWS portal problems.
