Went to a meet and greet for that canceled beauty guru last weekend and saw only 12 people showed up in a room that could hold 200.

The whole vibe felt like a library book sale where nobody remembered there was a sale happening, and she kept glancing at the empty chairs while talking about her new 'authentic' skincare line - has anyone else watched a comeback attempt just fizzle out in real time like that?

Wait, is sitting through a badly attended event really that big of a deal? Plenty of people launch stuff with no crowd and it works out fine, so maybe this is just one boring Tuesday for her.

Huh, @perry.evan might have a point there. Honestly, a slow night at a meet and greet doesn’t always mean the end of the world. I’ve seen creators bounce back from way worse turnout, especially if the actual product is decent. But I get why it felt awkward to you, watching her stare at empty chairs while pushing her new line, that’s rough to sit through. Still, I’d wait and see if the skincare actually sells before writing the whole comeback off, you know?
