Paid $250 for a 'reputation fix' service after my old tweets resurfaced, and I'm still not sure if it helped or hurt
Two months ago a clip from a 2019 livestream I did blew up again and a brand dropped me, so I panicked and paid $250 to a guy in Tampa who promised to bury the search results. He got a few old articles pushed down but the clip is still the first thing that shows up when you Google my name, so now I'm $250 lighter and wondering if I just made it worse by drawing more eyes to it. Has anyone here actually had luck with one of these services, or did you just ride it out and wait for people to move on?

Is one resurfaced clip really worth $250? People forget stuff fast, and most folks googling you probably won't care anyway.
