I thought that leaked apology video from the mommy vlogger was fake, then I watched all 22 minutes
When the clip first showed up on my feed in April, I scrolled past it because a 22 minute apology from someone who hadn't posted in 8 months seemed like a stunt. Two friends kept telling me to actually watch it, so I did on a Tuesday night with my phone on airplane mode. She never once blamed her fans or the "toxic" comment section, named the two brand deals she walked away from, and said her own kids asked her to stop filming. I still think most comeback videos are damage control, but this one felt like someone talking to a camera in her kitchen at 11pm with no ring light. Anyone here actually sat through the whole thing, or am I the only one who changed my mind?
The part about her saying her own kids asked her to stop filming is the piece I keep coming back to, but the 8 months away thing isn't quite right. She posted a short update in January, it was only up for like a day before she pulled it. The April video was the first time she really talked about why she left though, so I get why it looked like a stunt from the outside. I watched the whole 22 minutes twice and the thing that got me was how specific she was about the two deals she dropped, she even said the names and what they wanted her to do. Most apology videos stay vague on purpose so nobody can check anything. That's what made me believe her more than the ring light stuff.
