Unpopular opinion: that apology video from lifestyle guru @mellisajoy was way more fake than people realize

I followed her for like 2 years and watched her whole vibe shift after the 'ethical silk' scandal blew up. In about 48 hours she went from bragging about her luxury haul to crying in a beige room with zero makeup. That's super sus to me because I remember her saying last October that 'accountability is performative' in a q&a. The before and after is wild - her engagement dropped 40% on insta according to those tracker sites. Anyone else feel like these rushed apology videos just make things worse for the influencer long term?

Honestly I used to defend her but @felixlee is right, the whole setup felt way too calculated. The zero makeup look and the lighting change was like checking off a checklist.
