Tossed $120 at that 'authentic' apology tour merch and got a cheap t-shirt with a typo

Bought a limited edition 'I messed up' hoodie from that influencer who did the big livestream apology last month. Figured it was a funny way to support someone trying to make things right. But the fabric is see-through and the screen print says 'sorrey' with two r's. Emailed support twice, no reply. Anyone else get burned on this cash grab?

That's just how a lot of this stuff goes now. Everything's a hype cycle with cheap production and zero accountability once they get your money. People rush to make a buck off a moment and the product is always an afterthought.

You know, I used to think people were overreacting about this stuff. I'd see the complaints and think it was just a few bad apples or people being too picky. But after watching the same pattern play out over and over with different products and companies, I finally get it. The hype is all that matters to them. They don't care about making something that lasts or works right, they just want to cash in while the trend is hot. I've bought into it a couple times myself and ended up with junk I couldn't even return properly. It's hard to argue with that when you've seen it happen firsthand.
