She took 4 days to respond, then put out a crying apology filmed in her pool house, which somehow made everyone angrier. The pool house detail killed me. Like she picked the most extra location possible to cry about being out of touch. 2.8 million followers and nobody on her team said "hey maybe don't film this in front of the hot tub." I wanna ask though - what exactly did people want from her? A public breakdown in a parking lot? Or just silence and a check to the fire relief fund? Because I think the apology video format itself is what makes people lose it, not even the content.

i actually think expecting her to pretend the pool house and hot tub dont exist is weirder than just...filming where she lives? like everyone and their mom knows influencers have nice stuff, pretending otherwise is just gonna make people call her fake too. shes stuck either way. and honestly i think the apology format is the real problem, not the location. people just want to be mad at someone and they'll find any reason to be.
