Put $300 into a YouTube course that preached the same stuff from 2016

Remember when cancel culture was just people getting mad at tweets? Now it's influencers getting canceled for selling overpriced hustle courses. I dropped $300 on this 'viral mastery' program by some dude named Jake who got famous off reaction videos. Three weeks in and all he taught was 'post consistently and use trending sounds' like that's not free info. Has anyone else wasted cash on these guru courses that just recycle the same advice?

Post consistently and use trending sounds" lmao that exact phrase is what my buddy Matt got sold for $400 last year from some "TikTok growth hacker" guy. Matt spent a whole month doing these daily lives and posting at 7pm like the course said, and he gained maybe 50 followers. The whole thing was just him stressfully editing videos for hours then panicking when nothing hit. He tried to get a refund and the dude ghosted him. Honestly the worst part is he could've learned all that from a free YouTube video or even just scrolling on the app for an afternoon.
