Just realized the 'cancel' of that vintage game streamer was way too harsh
I watched his channel back in 2019 and again last month, the difference is night and day. That 2018 clip everyone keeps sharing is six years old, and he already apologized and donated $2,000 to that charity back then. Has anyone else actually watched a full recent stream before judging the old stuff?

...and honestly the whole thing reads like people who never watched a streamer grow up and change. I've seen this play out with a few creators over the years. The key is checking if the behavior actually stopped, not if the apology was perfect. He's been six years clean on this specific thing from what I can tell. If people really want to judge him, they should watch a full stream from this month, not a clipped moment from 2018. That said, if he ever slips back into old habits, then yeah, bring up the history. Until then, the donation and the long stretch of clean behavior should count for something.
